Sarah Heppekausen

lives and works in the Ruhr region as a freelance writer and theatre and dance critic. She studied philosophy, theatre and German at Ruhr University in Bochum, where she later also taught. She enjoys working with young people and up-and-coming journalists: since 2016, she has headed the blog editorial team of the festival Mülheimer Stücke, in 2018 that of Tanzplattform in Essen, and in 2021 that of Theater der Welt in Düsseldorf. She has served and continues to serve on several theatre juries and selection committees.

Kübra Sekin

is a migrant, disabled, queer freelance artist from Bochum. She has been working nationwide as a performer and actress in various artistic contexts of the independent scene since 2015. As a presenter, she guides audiences through diverse events such as award ceremonies or symposia. She has been featured in regular vlogs on the topic of inclusion on the Aktion Mensch YouTube channel since 2018 and has been a fixture in M.A.D.E. (Mixed-Abled Dance Education) – a professional artistic education programme in the mixed-abled field – since 2019.

Cathrin Rose

began her theatre career in 1995 as a dramaturge at Schauspielhaus Bochum under the directorship of Leander Haußmann. From 2002 to 2017, she worked as a dramaturge for Ruhrtriennale Festival of the Arts, where she established and headed the outreach department and developed such diverse programme series as No Education or Teentalitarismus. Since the 2018/2019 season, she has served as artistic director of Junges Schauspielhaus Bochum. This includes Theaterrevier, a separate venue for children's and youth theatre, which she heads together with Drama Control, a youth supervisory board.
