At first glance, this encounter between the audience and the actors almost seems unplanned. No bleachers, no seat cushions. Just three bearded roadies and their boxes in a large, empty room.
This jumping-off point for an unlikely encounter between the audience and the roadies becomes the foundation for an in situ “hair-sphere” which soon envelops the audience members in one all-encompassing cocoon.
Alice Laloy founded Compagnie S Appelle Reviens in 2002 and developed the production “À poils” in 2020. She is currently a collaborative artist at Mouffetard Théâtre des arts de la marionnette, Comédie de Colmar, T2G and Théâtre de l'Union. Her artistic process is oriented towards experimentation with poetic interplay between puppets, materials, machines, performers and sound compositions.
